Abstract
This article re-visits the tried-and-true exercise and updates it with one that "relies on one of the few remaining popular genres that employ conservative common-practice harmony: the college fight song chorus." Rogers takes the reader through a step-by-step working method, interweaving her students' attempts at satisfying the project's requirements.
