We have seen the impact that Covid had on our students in and out of the classroom. As faculty members, we were often expected to push through and continue to encourage our students. Recent studies have surfaced that indicate faculty, staff, and students have roughly equivalent rates of depression, anxiety, and stress. Educators are experiencing burnout at higher rates than in the past. While our focus (and our hearts) are the students, compassion fatigue has become an issue that requires attention. Let’s have a conversation……
