Abstract

The second and final part of an interview conducted by Dr. James Patrick Kelley with Frau Renate Bethge (1925-2019, née Schleicher, in Villiprott-Wachtberg, Germany on May 28, 1984. In this portion of the interview Frau Dr. Bethge reminisces about participating in Hitler Youth and Nazi school activities. She also describes the parts that her father, Rüdiger Schleicher, and uncles, Klaus Bonhoeffer, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and Hans vo Dohnanyi played in the plot to kill Hitler.
