Description
J. S. Ward was the third and fifth president of the Nashville Bible School (now Lipscomb University). He attended school at Transylvania and the University of Tennessee Medical School. Milestones during his tenure include being a “business agent” under William Anderson, creating the first alumni reunion in May 1906 (1,000 attendants), and awarding nine different degrees in 1906.
