Description
Batsell Baxter was the tenth and twelfth president of David Lipscomb College. He attended the Nashville Bible School, Texas Christian University, and Baylor University. Milestones during his presidencies include the first weekly radio program on WLAC, membership in the Mississippi Valley Conference (college athletics), membership of the high school in the Association of Tennessee Secondary Schools and the Tennessee Secondary Schools Athletic Association, and an enrollment of 400 students.
