Description

William Anderson was the second president of the Nashville Bible School (now Lipscomb University). He was educated at Franklin College. Some milestones during his presidency include the first degrees conferred (1902), the Lipscomb farm became the campus (1903), and literary societies organized. The boys’ literary societies were Calliopean and Lipscomb. The girls’ literary society was Sigma Rho.
